We got a couples massage here this week with DeVae and Donna. We booked ahead of time because they fill up quickly! The business is set away from the craziness of Bar Harbor center, and there is a private parking lot for customers only. The lobby was very calm and clean, with nice refreshments offered and access to a restroom. The massage room itself had plenty of space between the two massage tables so we were in the same room but not right on top of each other. They offered essential oils with no extra charge. Very reasonable price considering this is a vacation destination!
Highly recommend! My husband and I had Tom, and he was amazing. We had hiked Katahdin the previous day so a message was well needed. Tom listened to our preferences. I even hurt my ankle and he was able to message around it with no issue. Thank you for working us in your schedule! We are very happy with our experience.
LOVED LOVED LOVED my wedding florals from Queen Anne’s! I sent over some Pinterest photos and the flowers turned out exactly as envisioned (honestly better than expected!!) The entire experience was amazing & I would recommend to any Acadia Bride 💕

Curt went above and beyond to fix our garage door, replace window cranks, repair our screen door and much more. The work is top notch and he treated our home as if it were his own. In fact, I think he left the area around the windows cleaner than he found them! (He even fixed our door jamb on the way out when he noticed it pulling away from the frame.) Kim did my bridal hair yesterday and it was absolutely perfect, she was so kind and personable and did an AMAZING job!! I have really fine hair so I asked if she could work with my extensions and it was beautiful. Nothing felt heavy or pulled in my hair it was so comfortable and lasted all day and even held my 10ft cathedral veil across rocks! So much love to you Kim thank you so much!!!!
Such a great experience working with Michael + team! They are very knowledgeable about local plants and what will thrive in this weather and will be deer resistant! They were honest, completed the project within the expected timeline, and were very kind & helpful. We had them work on a stone walkway, garden beds, and drainage.

Called and left a message and received a call back within a couple hours (this seems to be rare nowadays) and Kevin said he would come look at my problem the next business day (again, seems to be rare nowadays). I really appreciate their timely response in checking out my heating/plumbing issue.

I was hiking with my dog and she decided to make friends with a porcupine. I called AVH when I had service partway back down the mountain, and they took her right away and were able to get the remaining quills out. Thank you all for being so kind and caring to Fig!
Fun place to visit, but don’t drive down to the sandbar! Park up on the street! We thought since there was a paved road going down to the sandbar that there would be some parking there, but nope, and we promptly got stuck in the wet sand! With careful maneuvering we got unstuck, parked up on the street and walked down and across the sandbar to the island. Although we were here off season on a cold day we really liked the town! It snowed that afternoon and the snow stuck to the roads immediately, so be prepared!
I highly recommend Bar Harbor Inn. My husband and I stayed for three nights and were made to feel welcome throughout our time there. We especially appreciated the gentlemen who were at the door - so friendly! We watched the sunrise at Cadillac Mountain, enjoyed the walkable shops and restaurants, hiked Acadia - rewarded ourselves with popovers at Jordan Pond, walked to the farmer's market on Sunday, took advantage of the spa (Navea is the best!), had the best dinner at Reading Room with an amazing view, and just enjoyed being there in such a beautiful location. Bar Harbor Inn was the perfect place to land at the end of each day. The living room felt like home and created an atmosphere of warmth - games, afternoon cookies, coffee/tea/hot water 24/7, fresh flowers, and someone always available to answer questions about what the area offers. It's a beautiful inn and meticulously maintained, but it's the people that will cause us to return. Each person we met treated us like family and made us feel welcome. It took a bit of effort getting there from Atlanta, Georgia, but it was well worth it.
Was traveling to Acadia from NJ and had to get a haircut urgently. Grady was working the day and did an extremely good job. He caters to every request and is very patient during the process. Loved the cut.
The only con is the wait time. There's only one person working at a time so be prepared for the long wait. Safe to say that Grady will do an excellent job.

Great service, good location. Nice snacks fresh from the bakery down the street.
The shuttle service in this area is pretty good if one visits during busy season. All our interactions with the staff were super nice, pool area was clean with towel service.
The restaurant on the property was nice too.

First tee time on a beautiful Maine Monday morning! Greeted by pleasant staff. Large netted driving area to warm up. Practice green that will put the fear of God in you. The 8th oldest course in the United States knows a thing or two about green management. Don't let the short course length fool you; the greens are very challenging. You'll master a light touch.
An adventurous layout that isn't punishing lies ahead. Take the few minutes and try to launch one out of the Taft Bunker on 17. You'll understand how President Taft racked up such a score.
Keep the phone handy for your golf app. But really, keep it handy to take pics of the incredible views. Rare is the course that is nestled in such a picturesque setting.
