Another successful trip (our third) to Acadia Yurts for my husband, pups, and me. It is great to have such a comfortable space that accommodates our dogs in such a perfect location. The yurts allow us to be close to nature without sacrificing the amenities we love- heat, a/c, hot water, among others! The location is close to our favorite dog friendly Acadia trails- Wonderland & Ship Harbor (both recommendations of the hosts, Karen & Aaron) and some great coffee shops- Milargo & Clark Point. They are also just a 10-minute drive to the Bass Harbor Lighthouse where you can catch a gorgeous sunrise!
Rhoda and her staff are the best you will find. They cater to their customers and go above and beyond. I will never go anywhere else for flowers,chocolates or special gifts.
I received the best pedicure from Kelsey at this hidden little salon, in the dephts of Maine. It is not a fancy setting, but the pedicure I got was one of the best I have ever had. I highly recommend it!
We were on vacation and our dog got an ear infection. The vet was able to see us the evening we called and got us fixed up in a matter of minutes. He was very kind and knowlegable. He works during the day in Ellsworth, but appears to see local patients in Southwest Harbor location on M-W-F starting at 5PM on a first-come first serve basis as needed.

Garrett is the best! We didn't have heat in one zone, he came right away and, a few minutes later, determined the problem was the thermostat and had it fixed and warm in a few more minutes. He's very knowledgeable, fast, friendly and professional. Highly recommended!
They did an awesome job and helped during every step of the process of our home building. We also had a problem come up, because of our lack of knowledge, and they solved it without any complaint.
