“Ray is a top rate artist and a really good guy, and is highly skilled in design, line work and exceptional at shading. I went to see Ray after a middling experience from a well-known DC artist for a full sleeve. Ray was able to completely transform my half-done sleeve to a true work of art that is seamless in flow. Prior, it was not well connected, line work was uneven and collapsing in some area and the shading was not cohesive.

Ray pulled it together completely and I absolutely love what he did. I recommend him completely and without hesitation. And for those that think you’ve got to go DC for a top end tattoo you don’t. Hit Ray up. He is the best in the DMV.“

I had followed Tattoo Culture for a while on Instagram and decided that Isa’s style would be fitting for the design I wanted due to its thin and sharp lines. When I showed up Isa and Ghost were friendly and welcoming. Isa asked if it was my first tattoo and proceeded to offer me options for designs and sizes so that I would feel comfortable with my decision. Prior to coming in I had felt anxious about where to place the tattoo on my body. She made a suggestion that made sense to me and was more my style. I am grateful for her expertise in helping me finalize every decision I made. She made me feel comfortable throughout the entire session including giving me a break to stretch and have a snack.
