“We had a problem with stone patio and stairs that were installed back in 2016. We called J & G Landscape Design for the repairs in December 2023. When we called J & G for help they were very kind and sent a project manager to inspect the patio and provide an estimate. He was very professional and explained how the slope had caused the patio/stairs problem. He also recommended some features to make the stairs safer.Two workers came over as scheduled. They worked very hard and the patio and look 120% better, and all the loose stairs pavers are securely in place now. They even added some mulch and sod that improved the overall appearance.We are extremely happy with J &G Landscape Design.“

They mow the lawns weekly and bi-weekly, do spring and fall cleanup, and also clean the gutter. We found it difficult to find a mason willing to undertake a relatively small job at our small colonial in North Arlington (removal of a concrete walkway and installation of a dry-laid herringbone walkway). Matt met with us several times to work out the design, promptly prepared what we felt was a fair estimate, and conducted the work as scheduled. The workmanship (I'm afraid that I've forgotten the name of the principal mason) was superb and Matt was good about accommodating some late minute changes in the design.“

“I had Brian come out last year to do some landscape cleanup and maintenance, and to give me some suggestions for native plants. After a day of work, the yard looked great, and I had a plan for my natives. In addition, his team dug up some of the bushes and ragwort in the front, as part of the 'haircut' my husband had requested, and transplanted them to the back, to add some color and ground cover. I asked Brian to come back last month for another cleanup, and to see how my native plants were doing. He had his team dig up some more of the ragwort, which was spreading like crazy, and moved them to the back. Our front yard looks manicured, but not formal, and I am very happy with the work Yard by Yard does.“
