Their Instagram presence was great too — very clean, modern, and inviting — which encouraged me to book.

Bailey was wonderful. She has such a charming, fun personality that made the entire experience feel so much more comfortable, especially since waxing can naturally be an awkward process. She was incredibly thorough, explained each step as she went, and asked about my preferences — like whether I wanted a countdown. I’m a naturally chatty person, so I loved that she matched my energy and kept the conversation engaging.**

The receptionist, Paige, was also so gracious when I arrived and when I left. She explained the wait time clearly, offered to throw away some trash for me, and pointed me to the bathroom when I mentioned I had a drink in the car. The bathroom was clean as well, which is always a nice touch.

The studio itself has a modern, tidy ambience with great music, and I felt comfortable the entire time. Meeting a new aesthetician can feel awkward because of the nature of waxing, but the environment and staff made it feel easy and welcoming. Parking was also plentiful, and the location is conveniently near a few spots to grab dinner or a snack afterward.

“my nails are lumpy, uneven, and just completely different sizes and shapes. i went in for a color change and had the same lady as the first time i went. i thought maybe she had an off day the first time, so i gave her the benefit of the doubt, but it was just as bad. she also let gel cure on my skin multiple times and left it under my nails as well. not at all the quality i expect from a salon (see photos for evidence). additionally, i was informed over the phone that my appointment would be 20 dollars, then once it’s done they charged me 32! they said it was because i did gel and not regular, but that was not made clear at all. their only saving grace was their coworker who instructed them that it was in fact $20. i had already paid, and instead of a refund, they gave me a 12 dollar gift card, which i won’t use as i likely will not be returning after the service i received. maybe the other nail techs are better, but in general, i would not recommend.

edit: their customer service is amazing!! Judy reached out to me personally and not only refunded me for the color change, but also offered me to get my nails done again. she checked in with me multiple times about the shape and color, and she nailed it! not only was she technically skilled, but she was also very kind and understanding. i’m very happy they offered a second chance, it turned out great :) I definitely recommend finding a nail tech you personally enjoy, and if you don’t like it the first time, be open to trying again with someone new!“
