“AG Floors provided a quick quote and scheduling, transparent pricing, plenty of flooring options, and very responsive service. Overall, the installation workmanship was excellent.
The main issue was communication and project supervision. We had discussed removing an existing kitchen saddle between tile and the new LVP flooring, and installing a new transition, but that instruction did not make it to the installation crew. When conflicting direction was then given onsite by another contractor of mine, the crew proceeded without confirming the change with me as the owner of the flooring project. This resulted in additional calls from me and follow-up that should not have been necessary. That said, AG floors was very responsive with post install support and was able to send their crew out immediately to remedy the situation. I really appreciated that.
The transition issue was ultimately resolved, and I would use AG Floors again. For future projects, however, I would clearly document that any change to an agreed finish or design choice requires direct owner approval. For future projects, I would plan to be onsite at the beginning of the installation to confirm that the crew understands the agreed scope and finish details, not ask for no deviations from my selected design choices.”
