The main issue was communication and project supervision. We had discussed removing an existing kitchen saddle between tile and the new LVP flooring, and installing a new transition, but that instruction did not make it to the installation crew. When conflicting direction was then given onsite by another contractor of mine, the crew proceeded without confirming the change with me as the owner of the flooring project. AG floors did a good job on my almost 80 year old floors. There were some small details that were missed however they performed the job for less than they quoted, so I am pleased. They were able to fit me in within my short move in time frame and that was greatly appreciated.
This is the third time I’ve used AG floors and I’m never disappointed - their work is excellent. This last job was a challenge: Our old bungalow’s attic bedroom had pine floors of varying widths as well as sections of plywood resulting from two home renovations done over the past 30 years. We had hidden these imperfections with wall-to-wall carpeting and initially planned to replace the carpet, but I really wanted a more authentic look. I consulted with AG floors, explained I didn't want to replace to perfection, but hoped to piece together the variations and finish the floor - the house was, after all, over 100 years old, built to 1920 standards.
