Sometimes we dream of what our ideal doctor could be. Then we start speaking out what we want. As we speak to doctors who may know who our ideal doctor maybe, and do so with passion and facts. The all of a sudden we find one that is even better than our dream doctor. I mean "out of this world!" I'm speaking of Dr Manisha Kalra. I loved everything I researched before visiting. Then she blow me away - she is a million times better than her website portrays. A God sent:):):)...As awesome as usual. She never seizes to surprise me with her compassionate care efforts, Amazing.
Bottom Line - This practice is 5 stars. If I could rate it more stars, I would. Dr. Manisha Kalra is an excellent diagnostician, gives excellent advice, is kind, compassionate, non-judgmental, and has an excellent bed-side manner. Never, in all my times here, have I felt rushed through an appointment. In addition, as anyone who has ever visited a doctor's office knows, the front desk staff is a vital part of the practice. Once again, from the first time I came to the practice I am always greeted warmly and the front desk staff (Kerlin, Julia and Annie) are friendly, polite, efficient and knowledgeable. (Kerlin and Julia also double as the Medical Assistants, as well). If I leave a message with any one of these ladies, I KNOW it will be given to Dr. Kalra, and if the front desk promises me something I KNOW it will be done. I also like the fact that there is a patient portal where you can communicate quickly and easily with the doctors, request a refill for a prescription, obtain your lab results, see a summary of your office visits, and more. They are located on Shady Grove Road midway between I270 (Shady Grove Road Exit) and Shady Grove Hospital.
