“I had a chimney that was no longer connected to the boiler or anything that started getting water damage around it on the inside ceiling. In a day, the team of 2 cut the chimney off down to the roof level, covered the hole and replaced rotten boards around it, shingled and everything. My wife couldnt even tell where the chimney used to be. They actually had to pull a whole piece of the chimney up through the ceiling in order to cut it to the angle of the roof and then put the cut piece back in, so I have some plaster and painting to do on the inside, but that was expected. With the guys on the job it helped that I speak Spanish, so if you have a job that you think might require some discussion midway through, you might want to let the office know beforehand ... but the work is quality. Boyd also istalled gutter guards for me a few years ago and theyre great. Reasonable price and good work“

“We recently purchased our home in Bowie, MD and had been sourcing quotes for new windows, to replace nine original ones from when the home was built in 1985 and three replacements that were improperly installed in recent years. The owner, Pat, came out to discuss the windows that Capitol offers, and came in with a quote right between the others that we had received. Seth and Ryan both made the rest of the process easy. The installation went off without a hitch, with a large crew getting the job done in just a few hours. The new windows look spectacular, work well, and offer a bit of an improvement with noise cancellation (albeit I don’t think any window would cancel enough noise for me). I’m looking forward to using Capitol for our next home improvement - a new roof - next year after tax time.“

“Once the work was started it went quickly. Communication is not good and you end up dealing with about 4 people both on the phone and via email. I was told they are changing the company name to NOVA ROOFING COMPANY and that is how they billed my card but so far that company doesn't exist that I can find. The contract was with Cole Roofing. I used this company before quite a few years ago and it was night and day under the new ownership. I had a complete roof replacement and so far so good. They just need to communicate a lot more and I think by telephone. Emails don't seem to have much priority.“
