“Updating this review. The staff and management reached out. As mentioned before I was late, but upset due to the inflexible nature of the situation. They have been understanding and discussed their challenges in detail. I have (probably exhaustively) explained my issues with some of their procedures. But I am happy with the adjustments made and appreciate the staffs efforts. So am adjusting my review.

Been a client of this vet office for nearly 30 years. Since the new leadership has taken over, the personal care has been dramatically reduced. After trying to get a allergy treatment for my dog for months and trying to get them to order it. On the day to pick up the meds and be instructed on the meds use I was 16 minutes late due to traffic. Was called as I parked that they canceled my appointment and I shouldn't bother walking in.“

“The entire Huffard Team are the best! They provide kind, and compassionate care. We know our senior dog is as healthy as he is because of his healthcare team.“

“My dog had a great first time experience with Sudsy Puppy. Her nervousness was expected and the groomer took precautions and ensured the dog was accommodated. Her coat was clean and smelt great. Her loose shed was gone (for now) just in time for Christmas. The staff is very attentive to communicating with us. We look forward to bringing her back after the new year.“

“I have a female Siberian husky (Lukin)… some of you may have heard her reenacting a scene from “Balto” as I pull up to Wagging Lounge… I am the lady who takes ear plugs out in the parking lot…. Our baby wolf LOVES Wagging Lounge (as I have alluded to above). I also LOVE Wagging Lounge! It’s so incredibly nice to know that my “ride or die” is somewhere I truly trust and know will take the absolute best care of her. There is a reason Wagging Lounge is “best of Howard County” every year since… 2018 or so. The staff is amazing to the fur kids and their humans. The facility is always clean, has indoor and outdoor space, also has AC!! You cannot go wrong with WL. Don’t even bother checking anywhere else! The staff makes Thanksgiving dinner for dogs who are boarding over the holiday… what else do you need to know?!“

“Stopped in for the first time to buy some dog food that I don’t see at Pet Smart, which is close by. They have a large variety of food and treats for your fur family members. Of course, they don’t carry everything but they surprisingly carried freeze-dried raw foods that I can’t get through Chewy. This is a 15 minute drive vs the 30 mins to Annapolis. The staff was very nice and friendly. I’ll be back for future purchases.“

“Took my Golden Retriever in for microchipping. Want to make sure that if he ever runs off I'm able to get them back. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Also gave him a thorough check out and he is ready to go.“

“When I took Zeus to petco I always left feeling like I paid for more than what I actually got. So I decided to go local and see if I couldn’t find someone better! Went on a whim and came to Kimberly and WOW!! Zeus is usually timid about leaving me but he was immediately comfortable with her and had no issue being taken away. The photos she took of him were a personal touch that I absolutely loved. He came back smelling so good, and with virtually no Shedding! She will be my new go to since it was an all around positive experience and I can tell she out time and care into grooming him.“

“No one will help the stray cat I found all the other hospitals asked for money first this hospital took in my cat immediately and help me apply for financing and their prices were 50 less then all the hospitals i called . Very compassionate dr and staff. Highly recommend them.“

“Alpha Vet Center is the best! We have a Jindo rescued from a Korean dog meat farm. Because of his past, he is very shy and terrified of people, through no fault of his own. The doctors suggested a combo of meds that would relax our dog, and we gave them to him before our appointment. Our vet visit was the most positive experience ever! Dr. Burton and techs were wonderful and very gentle with him. They made our dog feel at ease and comfortable. He even took treats from them which he has never done with strangers. The exam was a success, and we are very pleased. As a former vet receptionist and retired groomer, I cannot say enough good things about this practice. If you need a quality vet hospital with a caring compassionate team, this is the one to go to. You won't be disappointed. We are very happy with them and so is our doggy :)“

“If you want the best for your dog, Quality Time Pet Sitters is the way to go! Paige took fantastic care of our pups, Bear and Barkley. They understood exactly what our dogs needed and made sure they were happy and well-looked-after. We loved getting regular updates with cute photos! The place was clean, safe, and full of toys, and it was clear that Paige genuinely cares about dogs. We couldn’t be more pleased with the care provided.
