About LA Fitness
LA Fitness is a gym that offers a variety of amenities at a great value, according to multiple reviews. The gym features state-of-the-art equipment, basketball courts, group fitness classes, a pool, saunas, a Kids Klub, personal training, and more. Cleanliness and spaciousness of the gym are highlighted as positive aspects. Recently, there has been a noted improvement in staff and a remodel of the facility. The front desk check-in staff is praised for their amazing service and has improved greatly, making members feel very welcomed. However, some members feel that the membership service staff could improve their knowledge and assistance. While many members appreciate the friendly environment and attentive staff, there are concerns about equipment being left around and certain members lacking gym etiquette. Clean lockers, bathrooms, and saunas contribute to a pleasant experience overall. Some members have reported issues with the membership sign-up process, noting pressure to join quickly, which has led to frustrations when trying to cancel.
Front desk and current staff has improved greatly and very welcoming. Still can get crowded but overall much better.
Equipment are still being left all over the gaff. Sometimes i see dumbells left by members on the green which is their responsibility to put them back not staff.
Certain members lack gym etiquette and interpersonal skills making it difficult to be encroached in a space amongst such for an extended period of time.
However I am only referring to my experience in the evening times.
They pressured me into signing up saying there was a deal that ends soon and that I could cancel afterwards. They gave me a hard time about it when I did in fact end up canceling since I only wanted to try the pool.
Great gym. I talked with Mr. Ernesto Arias and he was a great help. He worked was able to compromise with my work schedule and I was able to tell him my position with my job and he just worked everything out. Very impressed and glad to have been helped so well.
