“Finally a reputable doggy daycare in my area! I was so frustrated looking for a place to bring my puppy that wasn’t in DC proper but close enough for me to include in my 2x a week commute to the city. Central Bark ended up being the best place! Not only can my puppy safely engage with others but I also get a much needed break and the CUTEST update with a report card at pickup.“

“Mr woo is very knowledgeable of dogs and cats. This was my first time allowing him to train my Belgian Shepherd, who is very energetic, And after picking up Queenie, she seems to be a little different. She’s obeying more barking less Yeah, that’s a big improvement so I recommend Mr woo for you fur babies thanks a lot sir“

“Second amazing experience. My puppy Mochi seems to love coming to the vet. He’s excited to get all the snuggles and treats from everyone he comes in contact with. So far I’ve been very pleased with the ease of making appointments and the service provided.“

“I wish this daycare will take adult humans. We're always greeted with smiles, even when it's 7am. My dog doesn't even look back when she goes in and she's absolutely exhausted when we pick her up. That last part is an impossible task. On my dog's birthday, they threw a little birthday party for her just because. It helps that it smells good in there too. Despite that there's, like, a lot of dogs in there.“

“We tried boarding our highly anxious cat for the first time while abroad so someone could give her the anti-anxiety pills every morning.

While our baby had a complete meltdown and became highly aggressive as soon as we left, the staff did everything they could to calm her and make her more comfortable. We were given updates on her status everyday and, at some points, were in even closer/more constant contact as we were concerned. At no point did they give up trying and when I came in early to pick her up, I could see just how much they cared for her and at no point did anyone blame her, they were so sympathetic to her anxiety kept reassuring me that she was not aggressive, she was just distressed, which is the exact mentality you would want from the people taking care of you pet for a weekend.

To the owners and staff, I just want to truly thank you all so much for the way you handled the situation and how you took such great care of our cat where many places would have given up with the behavior she was exhibiting.

“Aside from some punctuality issues due to the snow, their rates are very competitive and the bedside manner of care seems to be genuine and professional. My dog needed 2 incisors removed from what I thought was only 1. Someone needs to recommend volunteers here because they are short staffed. Anyway so far so good when it comes to the service my dog received. Recommended. I’ll be back and hopefully they can continue doing good work on my beloved pet.“

“My dog absolutely LOVES Dogtopia at Navy Yard! She gets so excited when we pull up and drags me in the building. The staff is extremely friendly and greets my puppy by her name. She forgets all about me when she sees them. 😂“

“Susie has known our little pup for years now and has done everything from training to walking and dog sitting with him. Susie gave us the tools we needed to help our dog with some of the challenges he was having living in a multi-unit building. He always runs up to her whenever he sees her on the street because he can't wait to say hi!“

“Great experience with District Dogs. They were fast, convenient, and took excellent care of our dog while we were in town and couldn’t bring him certain places with us. The space was clean, the staff was friendly, and he had the chance to socialize with other well-behaved dogs. He came back happy and relaxed, which speaks volumes. Highly recommend!“

“Just finished the basic obedience course at Greenbelt Dog Training with my pup Ozzy, and we had such a great experience! Allie was awesome—he had super helpful tips and made each class fun and easy to follow. I loved how this course trained without the use of treats, focused more on physical and verbal praise instead! “I took my 12 month Yorkie to Dr. D for her first visit. Before I went. I read the reviews and some of them were horrible. I went in with an open mind and boy I’m glad I did. They gave me the best experience. The front desk staff were very nice, knowledgeable able, and welcoming. We went to the back to meet the Doctor and he was welcoming and nice. As he checked my pup he asked if I had concerns and addressed them. I walked out very pleased with our experience. Thanks to the caring staff we’ve found our vet home,“

“My dog has severe separation anxiety, and this is the only place we’ve ever boarded her where she hasn’t destroyed everything she owns. She actually gets really excited when we pull in the driveway, and she realizes where she’s going; then she jumps out of the car so she can run to Mr. Whiteleather. He takes excellent care of her, and she absolutely loves him. I’m happy because Mr. Whiteleather is kind and the price is right. But mostly we continue coming because our dog loves it so much. Be prepared to show copies of your vet records each time and to pay with cash/check.“
