Kaiser Permanente South Baltimore County Medical Center provides excellent care with doctors like Dr. Ernest S. Mavunga, who is very patient and extremely detailed. Patients report always receiving excellent care and never having issues with doctors or staff. A knee injection with cortisone was painless, and an MRI technician named Kelly was very understanding, knowledgeable, and professional, keeping patients laughing and helping them feel comfortable and informed. However, some experiences vary; one patient felt they were given way too much anesthesia and were rushed out the door, unable to function or walk. The facility has a public cafeteria inside the building, parking in a covered garage, and public transportation.
As an FTM breastfeeding, you can imagine I had lots of questions concerning pumping, latching, and much more. I met with Dionna Boston, a lactation consultant at this location, and although I was late, she got me all set! She was kind, reassuring, and efficient. She answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable. She encouraged me during my visit, and although my visit was almost a month ago, I still think about it to this day. It was a great experience, and she’s a caring nurse. If you are looking for someone to help with lactation, I would recommend her 1000X.
Dr Rhamin Nunez is an excellent physician. She is very knowledgeable, has excellent bedside manner and cares about her patients. She delivered excellent service. Thank you, Dr Nunez!
This place is always clean. The staff at the pediatric office are welcoming. Dr Dixon is a simple, patient, articulate, attentive doctor whom I will keep taking my kids to if I had more. My daughter has been visiting her since 2020 I think and she has done an amazing job caring for her. Now my daughter is getting ready to leave her office and she is greatly missing her care. I don’t hope as my daughter moved on to the next phase for her continued medical service at Kaiser that she will receive the care she received from Dr Dixon. I would highly recommend parents with kids to Dr Dixon’s office
