The Retina Care Center provides excellent service with respectful, dedicated, and committed care. Dr. Khatri is attentive, engaged, knowledgeable, and very thorough. Dr. Sabbagh is an excellent doctor — knowledgeable, kind, and truly helpful, offering a very positive experience. Dr. Lakanphal and his staff treat patients extremely well, taking time to respond to questions and actually listening. The staff are professional and very kind, forming a really great team. Dr. Lakhanpal is thorough in eye exams, describes test results and findings in terms patients understand, and answers questions. He uses state of the art equipment and procedures, and the office and staff keep visits, testing, and exam processes smooth and efficient. Patients are very pleased with the care received. However, the front desk service at the Manassas office does not reflect the same level of professionalism. A front desk staff member named Dana was dismissive and rude, with unprofessional tone, body language, and attitude. Management is urged to consider hiring or training staff who genuinely care about patients and provide polite, respectful, and helpful customer service.
The service at the Reston office was excellent and the care is delivered in a respectful, dedicated, and committed manner. Dr. Khatri attentive, engaged, knowledgeable, and very thorough.
I want to start by saying that Dr. Sabbagh is an excellent doctor — knowledgeable, kind, and truly helpful. I’ve had a very positive experience with him during my visits. Unfortunately, the front desk service at the Manassas office does not reflect the same level of professionalism. During my recent visit, I was greeted by a front desk staff member named Dana. When I approached the desk and politely said, “Good morning, I’m here to see Dr. Sabbagh,” she asked for my name in a way that came across as dismissive and rude. Her tone, body language, and attitude — including eye-rolling and using her hands in a condescending manner — were unprofessional and uncomfortable. I mentioned to her that I had read other reviews mentioning poor front desk service, and unfortunately, I now understand what those reviewers experienced. When I asked for her name, she told me it was Dana, African American Lady. RGW is a respected medical group, and it’s disappointing to see the front desk not upholding the same standard of care as the medical professionals. I strongly urge management to consider hiring or training staff who genuinely care about patients and are capable of providing polite, respectful, and helpful customer service
