I booked a haircut with Johanna a few weeks ago. I had not had a haircut in over a year after another salon cut it shorter than I wanted. Johanna was so kind about the situation and didn't make me feel bad despite my very dead ends. I was really nervous because I knew how unhealthy my hair had gotten. She listened very carefully and gave feedback on how to get my hair healthy again without loosing too much length. I really appreciated her thoughtfulness during the appointment and look forward to going back for my next cut in a few months! I had called this salon for quotes for a haircut and potential color. However, I was not informed that if additional color was needed that I would be charged extra. My additional coloring ended up costing $200 extra and I was told at the end of my appointment not prior to the start of hair coloring. I called the salon the day after and was told the hair stylist forgot to mention how much additional coloring would cost. Although, the staff member was sympathetic to my situation, nothing else was done. I was decently happy with the service but the price shock without being told prior was very upsetting. I got my haircut here multiple times with two different stylists and it was always great. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Fairly priced too considering they don’t take tips.
