I got my hair done a week ago and it already looks old. The day I got my hair done I was bullied by the guys taking the money because I didn’t like the way it was done. Now I have to pay more money to get my hair redone.

All over the place with pricing. Three people in the shop getting the same exact hair style and all three people paying a different price. The owner Nadine is CRAZY with this.

Good, bad and the truth... Arrived at 7:45pm and they did not have 1b hair for myself or my niece. They gathered scraps for garbage cans to use to do boho knotless braids. It took 40 minutes before they started her hair and 1:30 minutes before someone started my hair. That was three different ladies who said they would do my hair and never came back to the chair. I was later informed it was because I started before 8:00 pm. They were looking for a premium. Two people worked on my head but only one person worked on my niece head. I was out the chair by 1:30 am and my niece was out her chair at 2:30am. This was not faster and they charged us $300 for me and $200 for my niece. Our hair looked really good but we didn't get what we were asked for... no triangle parts for me and my niece asked for shoulder length and got butt length. We had to travel two hours to get there ... the hair looks nice, but it's not worth it for us.

Paid extra for human hair for boho knotless, the curls fell and are very messy after 1 day. Ended up cutting the curls out and it hasn't even been a week. I like that it was quick. Great business concept but quality of braids could be better for $285 not including tip. Also my hair smells burnt.. 🤬🤬

I wish I could give more stars however, my most recent experience with Nadine’s has sealed the deal for me. I have been a patron of Nadine’s for a while now and over time the quality of work has declined. I got half fulani braids/half knotless braids done two weeks ago. Within one week, one braid slid out in the back. Now I’m on week 2 and a second braid has slid out in the back as well. I was willing to over look the first braid falling out and had a friend redo it. However, the second braid came out yesterday, after spending over $200, I felt I should inform Nadine. After arriving at the shop to voice my complaint today , I was immediately directed to call Nadine with all complaints. I placed a call to Nadine, after telling her what was going on with my hair she began to cut me off stating, “if you don’t report a complaint in 24hrs, we are not responsible”. She began to tell me all the things I could’ve done in a week to two week period that would’ve made my hair slide out. No apology was ever given. No true solution was ever offered. Customer service was beyond poor. Nadine went on to tell me my hair is old after 24hrs and I should’ve reported sooner! I have never, in my years of getting braids, ever had a braid slide out of my hair, let alone in the first week and then again in the second week. I won’t be back!

UPDATE: I spoke to Nadine (the owner) and she let me know that the braiders are drunk and tired from a 50th birthday celebration they attended last night so they’re doing the best they can today…you can bet your musty cheeks we won’t be back again
Brought my 13 year old daughter here at 5:30am and I am currently still sitting here waiting for them to finish and she has the whole side of her head left to do…its 10:42am. She got small knot less braids and she’s a kid so I expected to be out of here in 3-4 hours tops then to add to it some of these braiders have the nastiest attitudes I was very shocked at the braider being upset that my daughter asked for small knottless braids as if she was paying for them herself. I used to come to Nadine‘s back in the day and as a matter of fact, she’s a huge reason I decided to get locs because I just cannot take the process anymore. However, my daughter seeing them on TikTok requested to come here and within the first hour of them doing her hair, she text me to let me know that she does not want to come back and I couldn’t agree with her more, everything that glitters definitely ain’t gold.

Dia was amazing ! She did my faux locs and I constantly get compliments on my hair .. not only was she sweet and welcoming but it was my first time meeting her and she sent recommendations on the type of hair to get and fit me in last minute and not to mention great prices ! I will be going again for any braids or locs I need done
