However, underneath the banter is a deep rooted love, respect and appreciation for one another. May one need help, the other doesn't hesitate for a second. That being said, I, being a police officer for over 23 years, got to witness a group of Frederick County (MD) Fire and Rescue Firemen yesterday. I cannot express how organized, professional and respectful these men were when they came to pay respect and provide honor guard for their brother. Extraordinary group of individuals to say the least and a pleasure to witness especially in the wake of this heartbreaking situation. You should be proud, as Im sure you are because I am proud for you. May Jake rest in peace and watch over us all. Stay safe!“
