Our old mini split system was wearing out, mostly leaking coolant. We got three bids to repair/replace the system, and went with Holtzople for a full replacement. The estimator, Austin, came out twice to assess the project, the second time with an engineer. Their proposal was the best, and their installation crew of Shane, Ben, and Ben was even better. They were courteous, professional, and clean. The work was done in five days and our 126-year-old house is more comfortable than it has ever been.
Great service call today from Holtzople tech Jacob. He did a very thorough A/C system diagnostic check, measuring all fluid and air temperatures, visual inspection of wear components, etc and ultimately indicated the system just needed refrigerant top-off. Jacob spent time explaining the best ways to keep my unit running efficiently, what to expect as the system ages and completely answered all my questions. There was absolutely no time spent trying to upsell me something that wasn't necessary. Great, honest company to work with. Highly recommended.
Firstly, I had educated myself on the possible AC unit issues before a professional comes. Thank you Reed for fixing the issues with our AC. He went straight into work once he arrived and one of the problems he mentioned I had learnt about it on YouTube and unfortunately the labor price is higher than buying the part to replace e.g capacitor and some people were able to replace themselves. However, the cost of replacing it was within the range of what I got online. Overall we are grateful for the professionalism and quick diagnosis from Reed.
