“My Pitbull mix Jax has been going here since he was 6 weeks old. All the vets are great and knowledgeable. Jax is a big boy with a ton of energy. The vets at EMRVC treat Jax as if they owned him. When I inform them of hand signals and words I use to get him to stop, sit or lay. They take the time to learn and utilize the information to help make the visit the best it can be for both Jax and the staff.“

“Hillendale Animal Hospital and Dr. Ramappa were the veterinary center for our Basset Hound, Nigel, when we got him and we continued to take him there once he was in our care. Nigel always got first-rate, loving care, especially when the time came to say good-bye to him. We don’t have a SINGLE negative thing to say about this office! The staff at the front desk, the vet techs, and - of course - Dr. Ramappa, are nothing short of phenomenal! The entire staff is so caring and compassionate, extremely knowledgeable, and so accommodating. We trust them implicitly!!“

“I brought in my family dog because it seemed like it was her time. She was 15. And all I can say is that once again Dr. Vaughan was so amazing! She may have put it down but that doesn’t mean she didn’t show any less care or love. I appreciate everything she did as my sister and I were in there crying and wishing it wasn’t the time to say goodbye. She walked us through the process and made sure to make sure we were ready. She was so honest and professional through the whole experience. And the tech Ari was also so freaking amazing. I actually switched my own pets to this vet because of Ari and Dr. Vaughan. “We’ve taken all our dogs to Dr. T at Light street animal hospital since we moved here 5 years ago. We’ve adopted two senior pitties in the past who have had various health issues and Dr. T has always been open and honest about their prognosis and quality of life. Dr. T is very kind and compassionate and you can tell he truly loves being a vet. The staff is also very kind and our dogs love them. We have a feisty dachshund mix who can be fearful, but the staff and Dr. T are very good with him. When we had to make the last minute decision to euthanize our dog, they made time for us at the end of the day and gave us all the time we needed. Peaches, Phoebe, Fred and Penny say thank you!“

“I have been bring my pets here for years. First my 2 dogs Jax and Kit. Now my 2 cats Breezy and Luna. They take very good care of my pets and treat them like they are their own. The reminders are amazing bcuz I forgot when their vaccines expire and their team reach out and let me no the month they are about to expire.“

I truly have to thank this clinic and their staff from the bottom of my heart. They squeezed me in for an emergency visit day of despite being fully booked. I came in with my cat a sleep deprived crying wired mess and left feeling so much better. The prices were very affordable for a student like me and everyone was so kind. “Dr. Woodson is a wonderful veterinarian. She is very knowledgeable, compassionate and understanding of the budget concerns and was able to work with me to provide care for my dog. Her love for animals truly shines bright. And because of her compassion and understanding and willingness to allow me to do my part, Bane was able to make a full recovery for the most part. He will have scars but they do not stop him from running around the yard barking, snuggling with his family.“

“Today, we unfortunately had to put our 12-year-old boxer down. It’s an incredibly tough time, and I can’t express enough how grateful I am that this was our veterinary office.

My appointment today was at 3 p.m., and I assume from our earlier phone call they knew how emotional this would be for us. They had us come through a different entrance so that when I carried Roxi in, we were able to go straight back to a private comfort room. From the very beginning, the vet tech, doctor, and front desk staff made sure nothing came as a surprise. They walked us through everything step by step and were extremely patient, never rushing us for a moment.

One thing I appreciated more than I can say was that they handled all of the paperwork ahead of time. When everything was done, we were able to walk directly outside to our car instead of sitting in a waiting room. To be honest, we weren’t in any state to talk to anyone, and that level of thoughtfulness meant the world to us. They also made sure we knew—repeatedly—that we were in no rush and could stay with Roxi as long as we needed. No one should ever feel rushed when saying goodbye to a loved one, and they made sure we never did. I greatly appreciated the Doctor doing an exam prior, it’s comforting hearing from a professional that I was making the right decision.

We chose cremation for Roxi, and they already had that process thoughtfully set up for us as well—something I hadn’t even thought about in advance. Every detail was handled with compassion and care.

These are amazing people doing a job that families dread, and I’m so thankful we trusted them to give our Roxi peace. I plan to call tomorrow to personally thank them again for everything they did for us This memory will stick with us forever, and I’m truly grateful this’s where we went.“
