“I cannot find the right words to express what this clinic means to me and my beloved pets. If you have a moment, I’d like to share my story:
​In July 2025, my 6-year-old cat, Joey, was rushed to emergency due to a urinary blockage. After a week of uncertainty and a recurring blockage, I found the team at Lynn Clinic. From the start, they truly understood my situation and the deep anxiety I felt for my baby. They did everything humanly possible for him, and I truly felt we were in the best hands. The doctors and assistants don't just treat patients; they stand by you and share in your pain. Sadly, my furry baby passed away on August 28, 2025.

​Recently, our family welcomed a beautiful Shih Tzu puppy named Manchas. Without a second thought, I brought him here. I know this is a team of professionals who lead with humanity and a genuine love for animals. Believe me, you won’t want to take your pets anywhere else.“

“For the past 20 years Dr. Al-Lynn has kept tender care of all of our fur children. We are talking three dogs and two cats. Visits are interesting to say the least. Our first pet Nikko was the first pet to recieive care since an pup. He lived for about 14 years until he passed away in 2024. I was told that's unusually long for a Japanese Akita but we attribute his health to all the care and advice given from everyone on staff of Al-Lynn's. We now have a Newfoundland Puppy, at first, he was a little scared of the Dr. until our other dog Sterling assured him, in their canine language, that the folks here were good humans and didn't have to worry. After that one visit he's been excited and happy to see everyone. I highly recommend anyone who's in this area and has a new pet, visit Al-Lynn. The service is fairly quick and the customer service is warm.“

“The staff is so amazing not only with my two fur babies but with me also. They remember my pets names. The doctor is patient and always listens to my concerns. They return all phone calls and follows up on any appointments made on line in a timely manner.“

“I moved to Hyattsville Animal Hospital when my previous vet (of 15 years) just went downhill and a lot of trust was lost. My pet sitter highly recommended Dr. K so I made an appointment and never looked back. This is a terrific hospital from the front office and back office staff to the care. Dr. K is wonderful with all my littles (2 of my own) - I started fostering a little one and she goes there now, too. Their costs are the best in the area hands down. The facility is not flashy but it's nice and it's the care that matters and parking is not an issue ever. As long as they are there - all my littles will be their patients.“

My dog needed 2 incisors removed from what I thought was only 1. Someone needs to recommend volunteers here because they are short staffed. “The staff at Takoma Park Animal Clinic did an excellent job handling my cat’s recent illness. They allowed me to drop him off for the day and pick him up after work. They called and kept me informed as to his test results and how he was responding to treatment. When I came to pick him up, I was pleased that Dr Carey took the time, after hours, to thoroughly discuss his case and answer my questions. When handling him, the staff showed care and affection. I knew my cat would get excellent care here and they did not disappoint. Highly recommend!“

“I took my 12 month Yorkie to Dr. D for her first visit. Before I went. I read the reviews and some of them were horrible. I went in with an open mind and boy I’m glad I did. They gave me the best experience. The front desk staff were very nice, knowledgeable able, and welcoming. We went to the back to meet the Doctor and he was welcoming and nice. “I called ahead of time to let them know my dog was wobbling back and forth. I was so scared as she never had anything like this happen to her. This was at four in the afternoon. They were quick and kind caring for my fur baby and me since I was a bit emotional from worrying. I am thankful for their swift care for her. She's home with us resting and the doctor asked us to come back first thing in the morning for some more fluids. And finally to receive the results of her bloodwork.“
