“I moved to Hyattsville Animal Hospital when my previous vet (of 15 years) just went downhill and a lot of trust was lost. My pet sitter highly recommended Dr. K so I made an appointment and never looked back. This is a terrific hospital from the front office and back office staff to the care. Dr. K is wonderful with all my littles (2 of my own) - I started fostering a little one and she goes there now, too. Their costs are the best in the area hands down. The facility is not flashy but it's nice and it's the care that matters and parking is not an issue ever. As long as they are there - all my littles will be their patients.“

“Aside from some punctuality issues due to the snow, their rates are very competitive and the bedside manner of care seems to be genuine and professional. My dog needed 2 incisors removed from what I thought was only 1. Someone needs to recommend volunteers here because they are short staffed. Anyway so far so good when it comes to the service my dog received. Recommended. I’ll be back and hopefully they can continue doing good work on my beloved pet.“

“The staff at Takoma Park Animal Clinic did an excellent job handling my cat’s recent illness. They allowed me to drop him off for the day and pick him up after work. They called and kept me informed as to his test results and how he was responding to treatment. When I came to pick him up, I was pleased that Dr Carey took the time, after hours, to thoroughly discuss his case and answer my questions. When handling him, the staff showed care and affection. I knew my cat would get excellent care here and they did not disappoint. Highly recommend!“

He took my dog within the first 10 minutes of being there, assessed her, gave her a shot to relive her itching and explained everything step by step. He was clear on all the meds needed and I didn't mind paying the price as I received wonderful service for my dog Nala. Bring your dog here for personal service. They are wonderful here and I really appreciated their staff helping me get her cone on her head lol!“
