26743 Radio Station Way #100, Leonardtown“*LONG POST AHEAD* The prompt for this review says, “Tell people why the pro was great”, and that’s exactly what I planned to do! So (claps hands), Josh was my technician today! Y’all, when I say this man was knowledgeable, he was that and then some! So before I go in, let me go back before I get ahead of myself. I contacted the company yesterday to ensure my HVAC was working properly amidst these below freezing temperatures we’ve been experiencing this week. My HVAC was indeed functioning, but I wasn’t sure it was functioning as it should consideringj the temps. So along came Josh!For starters, I’m an extreme clean and neat freak mixed with self diagnosed OCD. I felt bad asking if he could put on those blue shoe cover things and explained myself. He laughed, pulled a pair from his pocket and said, how about I put these on! We laughed and I felt so relieved! (Side note: True customer services begins at the door and that’s why I didn’t want to leave that out). I explained my concerns with the HVAC running consistently over night and the things I’ve put into place during the day to combat the issue. He smiled and nodded which reassured he knew exactly what I was talking about, that it wasn’t uncommon and was addressable. He did his thing and checked out the outside unit, which was good. While out there, he told me he noticed my crawlspace door was wide open and explained how cold air going in there could cause cooler air coming through the vents (which was a concern I noticed). He closed it and securely locked it for me, grateful! He also mentioned he checked under there to ensure the floors were insulted, which they were. Talk about above and beyond! (Or below and beyond lol). He continued to assess the situation and checked the indoor unit of my home and the temperature of air coming from the vents. He even removed my thermostat and made sure it was functioning properly! Here is where I “tell the people why the pro was great”. Josh explained everything in great and I mean GREAT detail. He provided me with so much information about the system, that I literally had to take notes! He told me about the Emergency Heat option, how it works and when it should kick in. Ofcourse I had questions about this function and boy did he explain and provide answers for everything! He educated me on when it’s supposed to do what and how to check the temperature in my vents to make sure it’s indeed kicking on when it should be. He turned it on to ensure it worked and everything. He suggested when I should manually turn it on (during certain temp ranges) and how to ensure that function actually functions as it should automatically. Further more, he educated me on my specific unit and how it serves my house. He talked about summer usage and in house humidity etc. We discussed if the size of the unit was suitable for the square footage of my house as well. Josh made simple and cost efficient suggestions for me to begin to really understand how my HVAC is functioning. I’m a triple checker and before leaving, Josh made sure the thermostat was reset (no emergency heat on) and that everything was secure before he left!In summary, I know good people when I see them and he is for sure one! Good people produce GOOD customer services and Josh is truly top tier! I will absolutely be contacting this company and asking for him for any future concerns! I am sure the other pros are also pros, but for now, I can only rave about Josh. He was both extremely professional and personable. He was a tremendous help, educator, accessor and reassurance when it came to me being a fairly new home owner. Thank you Josh for your honesty. Because you’re so damn knowledgeable, I’m now aware of how my HVAC system works.“

27763 Baptist Church Rd # 101, Mechanicsville“This year’s Valentines came in the form of 3 trucks from Cliff's Heating and Air installing my new heat pump and A/C unit, and I'm thrilled with the experience! They showed up right on time, got the job done efficiently, and made sure everything was working smoothly before they left.What really stood out was how responsive they were. Any questions or concerns I had, they were all over it. They took the time to walk me through the process and explain how everything works, which I really appreciated.Plus, they were total pros. Super courteous, respectful of my space, and they left everything spotless when they were done. It's rare to find a team that's both skilled at their job and great to work with, but Cliff's Heating and Air nailed it.I pulled quotes from 4 other companies (the big box stores and local southern Maryland providers) and I’m confident I made the right choice. Cliff came himself for a walk though with the person who did the quote and install. They brought the quote and reviewed it with me. Hechecked the size of the return for best fit with the size of the unit. During the installation they reoriented the inside unit so it’s easier to service and added an outlet. These are people who take pride in their work. And the final bill was the same as the quote.Bottom line: if you're looking for no-stress HVAC help, these are the guys to call. They've got the skills, the service, and the attitude to make sure you're taken care of. Couldn't be happier with my new system, all thanks to Cliff's Heating and Air!“
“The guys did a great job! Did their job and more. They fixed my issue of a leaking outdoor faucet and fixed another issue outside of what I asked for at no additional cost. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.“
