“I had the pleasure of getting a massage by Loretta Wingo. It was such a pleasure. I requested a a special medical massage at the last minute via a business partner of her and it was phenomenal. She has over 15 years experience and you can truly see that in her drive, timeliness, compassion and touch. She not only helped heal my body, but she ministered to my soul. I APPRECIATED THAT MORE THAN ANYONE COULD IMAGINE. She has such a healing spirit and calm demeanor that makes her so warm and welcoming. I love this gift that was bestowed upon her. Now, I believe in self-care. I get a massage once a month. So saving the experience wasn't new to me. I knew what to expect. However, I typically go for male masseur as I carry a lot of lactic acid in this plus size frame. She was strong and firm which I loved. This deep tissue girl was in awe but at the same time she knew where to apply gentle pressure. That's a cultivated skill. I was ready for pain but there wasn't any. There was pressure, reassurance amd breathing techniques for comfort. I really admired the "Smell Goods". I detest lavender and was greated with an island coconut vibe. For a girl who loves good aromatherapy it was indulgent. Because she offers travel services she came to me which was greatly appreciated as I was in from OOT, so I unfortunately do not have pictures. “I came here for a skin tag removal procedure and I am very pleased with the results.

Dr. Kim performed my procedure. She took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure I was as comfortable as possible during the process.

The procedure itself took about 15 minutes, not counting the additional time needed to let the numbing cream kick in. As she started the procedure, we realized that more numbing cream was needed, so that was another 10 to 15 minutes tacked on to the time.

Unfortunately, the procedure was not as painless as was initially described, but it's not prohibitively uncomfortable. Dr. Kim checked in with me throughout the process and if I needed a break, she would take a pause and give me one.

After the procedure, Dr. Kim gave me some wound care instructions as well as some ointment to put on the site as it healed. I'm happy to report that there was no pain or discomfort after the procedure.

Procedure side, I love the energy of this place. There's all kinds of holistic, homeopathic, and ayurvedic materials in here including incense, tea, crystals, candles, sage bundles, palo santo, and all sorts of sprays and tonics to help purify your home or your environment. There are even gift sets for all the holistic homegirls in your life. They also sell accessories including ankle bracelets and custom waist beads imported from Ghana.

Every single one of the staff members I've met has been absolutely wonderful. Warm, and friendly, and welcoming. I can't wait to come back and try some of the other services offered by this wellness spa— I've especially got my eye on a good, long massage and guided stretch session.“

“I just had the Itchy scalp treatment at Lola Rosa in Lanham. Jasminn provided me with so much care! I had never been to a head spa before, but it was recommended to me, so I thought I would check it out. It was one of the most relaxing treatments I have ever had. Jasminn personalized the products she used for me based on my scalp analysis. She made sure the room was the perfect temperature and kept checking in with me to make sure I was comfortable. The scalp massage was wonderful. The products had that wonderful tingly feeling and everything smelled so good. I could sit under the water halo all day. It was so relaxing.
