to see if I could get my hair done on my day off and what timeframe I was looking for. I informed her I had already purchased my hair, as I have a sensitive scalp. I provided pictures of what I was looking for and informed her that I have fine hair and am tenderheaded on top of my head. let me just say blessed hands know how to comb that hair. I was literally in there at times, going to sleep. My hair is not tight. It does not itch. She even told me how to take care of it, and I know for a fact, I will be back. The place itself was clean, spacious and relaxing.

Unless it is your thing, there is no need to be in a sweat shop sitting on top of other people getting your hair done, not to mention the noise, inconsistent braiding size, and inconsistent pricing. I highly recommend her.“

I also love that I am usually in an out of her chair within 2 hours. I have armpit length thick semi relaxed hair and Lawanda does a truly fantastic job in getting my roots straight and flat! This was dealbreaker for me in finding a stylist, as I don't like puffy or stiff roots. She also is tremendously skilled at detangling and blow drying! My hair is thick which tangles and knots easily after washing. Lawanda takes her time and I don't experience hair loss or breakage during this process , as I have with other stylist. Overall my hair is healthy and is growing more. Lastly, I love the private mini salon suite that really allows the stylist to focus on the client without a lot of extra activity.
