About The Kensington Bethesda

The Kensington Bethesda is a lovely residence facility with a variety of activities for seniors. The beautiful dining room and superb food and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The building is brand new, immaculate and warmly decorated for comfort and ease. A gorgeous outdoor patio and a lovely dining area provide great space for hosting visitors for lunch or dinner. Rooms are generous and well designed. Staff is responsive and kind, and visitors enjoyed a pleasant visit and delicious dinner. Thanksgiving had good care and all details. Parking lot is tight and entrance gates are also tight. Highly recommend.

I’ve meant to write this review for a while. While we ultimately did not choose The Kensington for my dad, i was nothing but touched by the staff here when we were considering placement. They (Especially Anne) were caring, concerned and patient as we dealt with an ever worsening situation with my father that threw us some curveballs. Unlike some other places they seemed to be genuinely interested in helping and not necessarily in making a sale. And the facility is amazing! It is worth a visit if you are considering assisted living and memory care in the area.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Kensington Bethesda. The facility itself is gorgeous, vibrant, and always clean, but it's the people who make it extraordinary. The staff is attentive, kind, and truly personally invested in the well-being of the residents. Kudos to the therapy staff as well! Their patience and dedication to helping residents maintain their strength, mobility, and independence are unmatched.

The most elegant, beautiful and friendly place I’ve ever seen (and I’ve been to many assisted living places where my other relatives have lived.) The staff is so personable, all eager to accommodate anything you ask with a warm smile and such genuine kindness. I’m so happy my brother moved here, he is completely taken care of and is stronger and more vibrant since he moved in several weeks ago.
