The veterinarian is considered the best in the area and has a good bedside manner, making animals feel comfortable. The staff is described as kind and professional. However, it is noted that clients may need to ask specific questions to get the information they need. In recent changes, the hospital has shifted to an appointment-only system, which was not previously communicated, and now charges a walk-in fee. Despite this, clients continue to receive quality care for their animals at the hospital.
My dog Reese has been a patient of Benson Animal Hospital since he was 8 weeks hold. Over the years Dr. Randy Benson, Dr. Sophie Benson and sfaff veterinarians have given Reese extraordinary care. The staff members are professional, courteous and most helpful to assist.
Reese is now 12 1/2 years old and still is under the care and watchful eyes of Benson Animal Hospital.
Additionally, Benson Animal Hospital is an independent family run practice.

Very caring. Dr. Sophia spent time with us explaining what needed to be done to evaluate a complex set of behaviors/symptoms . She also fully explained the treatment options and immediate next steps regarding medications, etc.
The Benson Family really is the best. Even from across the country they were willing to try to diagnose my dog who had what seemed to be a benign tumor. Speaks to their commitment to the well being of animals near and far. Highly recommend!!
