Friendship Hospital has to be the best vet in DC. Not only do they handle visits respectfully and professionally, they also genuinely love my pets. My cat George has so much fun with the vets and vet techs every time he goes because they give him so much love! Dr. Mattheisen is incredible and I highly recommend her. Appointments are on time, informative, and efficient without feeling rushed at all. I always leave happy with an even happier cat.
This team is phenomenal with treating our pet emergencies.Last week, we had to say goodbye to one of our cats around 1am. Their compassion and care with our cat made our hearts feel a little lighter.I’m honestly very grateful to have had them with me during this depressing episode.
EDIT: The hospital reached out to me and refunded the additional charges, so I am updating my review. I appreciate the customer service provided by Meg.Waited several hours to be seen, and then got hit with a $1,400 bill that included $700 in unnecessary x-rays when all my pet needed was rehydration.Beware of this hospital, as they will take advantage of you during your time of crisis.
