“Thank you so much for squeezing Captain Morgan in. Dr. Alcott was great, I really appreciate the time he took with us and explaining things. I will try to keep him from eating stuff from outside which is almost close to impossible. It took a good week and he finished his medication and is back to "normal".

Thanks again to the front desk staff and Patrick was very helpful (as usual) answering my reply texts since I can't always get to my emails.

They were professional and compassionate throughout the entire process, asking me questions and explaining everything along the way. They handled all paperwork in advance so that I could just be in the moment to say goodbye to my dog. All of our clinic visits have been very pleasant as well, and I never feel like they were pushing unnecessary things on me. Highly recommend!“

“The doctors and staff at Nebel Street have taken care of my cats for over 20 years. They are unfailingly attentive, and treat each "patient" like their own. They take their time in the examining room, provide careful explanations, and regularly follow up with phone calls after each visit. Originally, I lived a few blocks from their office, which was very convenient. Although I have moved, the 30 minute drive is well worth it. I wouldn't trust my cat family with anyone else.“

“Dr. Cujdik is beyond amazing! My French bulldog had an infected tail pocket from a corkscrew tail. The corkscrew tail needed to be removed immediately and Dr. Cujdik is the only vet that I trust to put my dog under anesthesia, especially with being a frenchie and with a serious surgery like this. Dr. Cujdik and his coworkers including Ryan and Paras were incredible to work with! Dr. Cujdik, Ryan and Paras made Nino so comfortable during each visit, answered all of my questions, and made the process super smooth! They are so kind and truly love animals!

My pup, Nino, is scared of everything and they all have a very loving and calming personality that Nino quickly warmed up to! Dr. Cujdik walked me through all the details of the procedure, pre and post surgery care, and answered all of my million questions with so much kindness and compassion! “I just had a really great experience with Silver Spring Animal Hospital and they'll now be my dog's primary provider. I've struggled with vet care for my 4-year old pup because she's so fearful and resistant. I found this practice through the Fear Free website, because the vets are certified fear-free, which means they've received training on how to calm down fearful dogs. They worked with me to get a good dose of calming drugs before the visit and they allowed me to stay in the room with her which was really important to me (I want to know how my dog reacts and I know my presence makes her feel better even if she was still uncomfortable). Dr. Benton and all the staff I met were really great and everything was clearly explained to me and they took the time to address all my questions.“

“Simply the best place you can take your pet. The staff not only cares about the animals but are all animal lovers and always made my dog feel comfortable. We had to put him down recently after a stroke and the staff were incredibly compassionate, professional, and reassuring that we were doing the right thing for our dog, while explaining the what was happening through each step of the process.
