“I’ve had such a wonderful experience every time I’ve gone to Studio Thirty-Six. I usually see Nicole (who is amazing!) for a cut and style, but I’ve also been to several of the other stylists, and the quality is always consistently excellent. The salon itself feels like a little oasis in Annapolis—welcoming, calming, and relaxing the moment you step inside.

I especially recommend Studio Thirty-Six to LGBTQ+ clients. These days it can feel intimidating to try new places, especially for something as personal as your hair. Here, though, you can feel confident: the stylists listen closely, pay attention to detail, and really honor the way you want to express yourself.

Jamel listened to what I wanted, how I typically do my hair and I gave him the freedom to do what he needed to make my hair work for me. It's fabulous. I love what he does.“
