“The staff at St. Charles Animal Hospital is amazing. My dog has been having a few issues over the past several months and they have gone above and beyond to ensure he is being cared for. To include follow up emails and phone calls to check on his progress and to ensure he is getting better. This past weekend however I had to unexpectedly bring him back in and he was able to be seen Dr. Siskovich and the vet tech Katelyn. The amount of time and care they put into checking him out and giving me the best answers they could was amazing. They gave us several resources to make sure he is able to get the care he needs for his issues. There is no doubt in my mind that they truly care for the animals they see and do their very best to make sure the clients are taken care of. I cannot express how grateful I am for them and their compassion they showed towards me and my pup. The front office staff is also very engaging, and encouraging with your pets health and are extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend them for the best care for your pet!“

“My dog Lilac loves going to the vet. In fact she has taken me there on walks. During Lilac's last yearly check up she didn't realize that she got two shots and had blood drawn. The doctors also find practical solutions if a problem arises. For example they suggested Zyrtec for her allergies instead of pushing something expensive.“

“I cannot recommend Wesley’s Grooming 911 highly enough. From the first phone call I had a great feeling. The moment we walked in, the entire staff was so kind and clearly extremely knowledgeable. I brought in my terrier mix, who has a complex double coat, and I was completely blown away by the service.
My groomer, Crissy, didn't just rush us through the intake process. She took her time to thoroughly examine my dog's coat, discussed my specific expectations, and made tailored recommendations for the best approach. They truly went above and beyond to care for my fur baby! Instead of taking the easy route, she utilized a specialized, physically intensive technique to properly groom and care for the double coat. The results are absolutely stunning, and my dog came home happy and relaxed. If you want a team that genuinely understands breed-specific grooming and puts the dog's well-being first, this is the place to go!

“My peanut is very skiddish but today they changed my outlook. Jada and Jasmine were sooo amazing with my babies. Jada was able to groom Peanut which is very rare I've tried plenty groomers. “I have an 75lb coonhound mix who somehow has a partial undercoat and fairly coarse short hair, so he sheds A LOT and has that quintessential hound *scent* basically all the time. He gets the full service bath and I can’t believe how incredible his coat looks and smells great (not just drowned in dog perfume). And it lasts or weeks! His skin is so happy. We have only had wonderful interactions with the entire staff. He has a good experience every time and is always chipper when we pick him up. Yes it’s expensive but worth every penny for the quality and compassionate service!!“

“We were able to board our pup of 4 years in very short notice. We could not be more grateful for Hometown to have availability for her to stay for almost a week. They were very accommodating, and had a schedule laid out to take care of her and take her on walks.
They were understanding of her nervousness, especially separation anxiety. When I called to check in on her, they responded with patience. They were supportive and honest on how she was doing.

“I cannot express enough how much I recommend Frolick!!! I initially was just going to the open gym in the evenings to practice agility and basic commands with my Bernedoodle , where I had met initially Kevin and Kim (the owners). Kevin is SUCH a wealth of knowledge about dogs and had given me initial tips to build on what my girl already knew, but the more we talked, I knew the day board and train would be the best option. IN COMES JUSTIN!! He has the Kevin touch as well. Everything looks effortless. He also was beyond patient with me ( I think I was harder to train than my dog tbh, but you’ll have to ask him). Now, I swear my girl loves Justin more than me (they really should love their trainers that much!), she loves “going to school” (which is what we call Frolick)- to the point she starts Panting when we get close by on Duke street.
The perfect mix of corrections and positive reinforcement, training the things I needed the most and was having the hardest time being consistent with (place, heel, recalls) and dealing with reactivity! GOD SENDS. If I have a question or concern,I don’t feel dumb asking or coming to Frolick to ask or practice. EVERYONE has noticed how much more relaxed both my pup and myself are now- that’s confidence from Justin. Frolick is truly a family and I wish I would have found them even sooner. I will be eternally grateful!!“
