Literally made my day. I spent like two full days straight trying to fix my PC because it was stuck in a power loop and wouldn’t show a display. Brought it in and Joe checked it out at the counter for a quick inspection. It was super fast but he reset the RAM and it worked, even though I literally reset the RAM at home multiple times myself. At the end, I asked how much the price was and he said don't worry about it. He easily could’ve charged me a fee, but he was mad honest. Would definitely come back
I've shopped at CDC literally for decades. If I remember correctly, they were the first computer repair shop in Winnipeg. Locally owned, their long-term employees ALWAYS have honest opinions and straightforward answers and don't try to upsell you. Their prices are not inflated. Sometimes, I go to the shop just to look around at their weird and wonderful things! Unlike shopping online, you can try it, hold it, turn it around and look at it and get expert opinions of comparing other products. Daniel has been my favourite helper there for a long time. Let's keep this Winnipeg legacy open and shop local!
