My heat broke and when the Fawcett Tech’s came the first thing I said after 2 minutes was should those pipes on the basement ceiling be leaking and shouldn’t they be self contained? The first two tech’s both said it was because the lower pressure valve stopped working, the furnace over filled with water and it was coming back down from the second floor and will stop. They came 7 times within 3 weeks because it kept breaking from the leak I pointed out, a plumbing issue related to bringing the steam up to the second floor. After being a customer for 20 years I received a letter saying my plan had been canceled because I did not purchase oil in 6 months. Nowhere was that ever stated. My calls went unanswered.After research of other companies, Fawcett is grossly overpriced and needless to say their customer service horrible.

August Brothers was absorbed or merged with Fawcett Energy. My account went to Fawcett Energy. Having only August Brothers to compare to, service has gone downhill. I would never choose this company given the chance. How do I go from “ 8am service call is on the way” to 10:00am phone call.. “he’s not coming “.. lets reschedule . Don’t go on budget, they jack your bill up until they have $1000 of your money, then adjust your bill. I’m still trying to even that up a little..going to start looking for a local company..
