They aren’t just about making a bunch of money or a profit taking advantage of their customer base. They were very understanding and extremely accommodating. The staff was professional and personable. The doctor was experienced and very knowledgeable. They even followed up after with a written summary of our appt and prepared thoroughly reviewing our dogs history before we met. I am extremely satisfied with the thoroughness and the time the doctor spent with us and didn’t feel rushed at all. We just recently moved to MA from CA and will definitely plan for all our pet care here to be at Highland Animal Hospital and provide a shining recommendation.“

There have been changes since Pete left and I'm happy to say that Shira and Liz have been extremely kind to me and Jax. I feel Shira goes 'above & beyond'. Liz is very focused too. I feel a big sense of trust when I leave Jax with them. Thank you for being here and making my life a little bit easier!

164 Walpole St, Norwood“I have a Persian (Ellie) who I failed at proper grooming as a kitten, so she doesn’t love it now that she’s older. I’ve taken her to a number of groomers over the years and she’s never come back looking and feeling as good as she did from Wags N’ Whiskers. I skipped her getting a bath-unless she goes with her sister and gets done together, Ellie is exiled and bullied until her sister warms up- and her hair and coat still looked great. The cats being groomed at times when there’s no dogs made such a difference, she had a pep in her step from the moment she came out of her carrier. I have a puppy who I’ll be bringing in to get groomed, as well as my other kitty when she’s due. Highly recommend (especially for cats!) Couldn’t be happier! T“

They take the time to get to know each dog's personality and needs, pay attention to details and are gifted and artful groomers. The vibe is warm and friendly and the owner is clearly committed to creating a hospitable and professional environment. I completely trust these folks with my dog and am in awe of how good he looks each time I pick him up.“

1046 Massachusetts Ave, Arlington“Our dog LOVES Go Play! We did puppy and basic obedience courses there and she goes weekly for daycare. When they open the door for her to come in our dog runs in and doesn’t look back! Go Play was also super helpful and supportive when we were going through behavioral issues with our dog. They’re so fantastic!“

Dr Martinez not only made it convenient for us, he is reasonably priced. During a difficult time when most people take advantage, Dr Martinez is honest and kind, and only has you do what is absolutely necessary. Unlike those other “emergency clinics” that I have made the mistake of going to multiple times prior that cost 250$ just to walk in the door. I am forever grateful to Dr Martinez and the girls for taking my panic calls and listening to me ramble and cry when I thought something was seriously wrong with the little dog Ryder. They are the best!“

789 Massachusetts Ave, Lexington“We’ve been using Doggie Jogs to walk our two chocolate labs 3x/week since 2021, and we couldn’t be happier. Our boys race across the house when they see the dog walker’s car pull up out front and wait anxiously by the back door with tails wagging. They generally walk with the same walkers who know their unique personalities, quirks, what they like and don’t like. The team is super reliable, friendly, and clearly loves dogs. Most days, other dogs from our neighborhood join the walk, which our dogs love! They not only get a good walk, but social time as well. We’ve also relied on Doggie Jogs for weekend walks when we’ve needed extra coverage, and they’ve always come through. We highly recommend Doggie Jogs to anyone looking for trustworthy and caring dog walkers!“

28 Washington St, Natick“I love Metro Pets. They are always on time. And they return my precious standard poodle on time and beautifully groomed with a call 15 minutes in advance. Madison is a highly skilled groomer and she and Willow are a lovely match. I highly recommend Metropets. Not all groomers can handle a standard poodle cut that looks like a poodle but not too frooffy. Willow and I love Madison and Metropets.“

1635 Beacon St, Waban“I finally found a reliable groomer for my doodle! I have been grooming my dog Uni by myself for the past couple years because I didn’t trust anyone else to do it. Recently we moved to the area and I heard good things about Dyno Mutt. One day i decided to pop by by myself and saw that they were such nice and loving people. They clearly care a lot about their clients and dogs. Each dog receives full attention and love. So I decided to give them a shot and I am SO glad that I did! They did an amazing job, I’m very pleased. They are a little pricey, but you really get what you pay for. Worth every penny. Thank you so much! We’ll be back!“

I’ve been taking Benny to be groomed at Twickenton for the last 5 years and I’m always thrilled with how spiffy he looks after each of his “spa days.” (And he smells good too!) Thank you to the entire Twickenton team who are always so friendly and helpful.“

75 Linden St.20 & No.60, 20 & No.60, Waltham“Petco Vaccination clinic, it was way better than when we went to a Vetco Clinic. A lot cheaper and the folks were really AWESOME at the Waltham store.
Vetco, different story. They messed my dog up and I'm still waiting on what you all are going to do. You say he has Lyme after a blood test, then, you give him meds and shots, i paid a lot of money. You schedule a follow up for 10 days later for what you said was his final Lyme shot but i went there for nothing because you were closed that day. You get that? You have me come back on a day your closed lol. So, i had to go back the next day, when i got there i was told i can't see the vet today. Well, before i left i seen the SO-CALLED VET LOL. Now i was told he doesn't have lyme and doesn't need the final shot. I'm really mad at this point. How do you not know what is going on? I still don't know if he has it or not because i can't afford to have him retested cause i have no money left. Ive called them and they won't talk with me and never call me back. What are you hiding? Now i know why my best friend Wesly was treated so bad and for something he didn't have. They don't care, if they did, we wouldn't have been treated like that and they would have at the least call me.
2 employees in the store part of the business heard my mouth and the commotion and after i left they came to me and confirmed how bad they are there. They told me they would never bring their pets there. Never going back nor is anyone i know ever going back after my poor pup was handled like a piece of meat for them to make money. I will never let this go and will keep telling everyone, until they make it right. I'm at the dog parks several times a day telling everyone. They won't even contact me.
I used my disability money for that you know. You don't love animals, and you robbed me, a disabled person. So sad!
Have a blessed day, and my dog Wesley, forgives you.
I DON'T

1 Worcester Rd, Framingham“I visited this location for the first time last week, and was pleasantly surprised. There was NO animal or pet food odor at all, unlike many similar stores. It all seemed nice and clean. I was there for the fish section, and the tanks were pretty clean and fish looked healthy. Their live aquarium plant selection was rather small BUT they were almost all in good condition, which is rather rare for chain store plants. Their live Betta fish were all in clean water, and also looked healthy. You can tell a lot about a location by how their Bettas look. As an ex-parakeet parent, I also looked in on theirs, and they, too, looked perky and healthy. I will definitely go again in the future, as long as the standards are being kept up.“
