I’ve been seeing Dr. Leibole for years, first for astigmatism and in the last couple of years for MGD and dry eyes. He is so attentive, patient, and completely unwilling to accept the chronic discomfort in my eyes I thought I would just have to learn to put up with. He and his wonderful team tried so many things and worked so hard to care for me. I underwent Advanced Surface Ablation (ASA) with Dr. Leibole in April of 2022. Dr.Leibole and his staff are so welcoming and kind, always answering my questions throughly. The surgery itself and recovery afterward went so well. The office has always fit me into their busy schedules for any eye- related emergencies. I have referred a few friends, family, colleagues, and acquaintances to check out his office over the years if interested in Lasik or ASA.
I underwent LASIK at Eye Care and Laser Surgery of Newton-Wellesley in December of 2018, and more than seven years later, the results continue to be outstanding. Prior to the procedure, I had significant astigmatism in one eye along with worsening distance vision that was interfering with everyday activities and overall quality of life. I spent roughly 18 months attempting to adapt to glasses, which ultimately resulted in frequent headaches and ongoing practical limitations.
