they are pretty good, although i had a bad experience at the end. its difficult to find anyone reliable on vineyard. they couldnt figure out the leak from the shower up stairs, finally joe's plumbing fixed it no problem. emergency calls very expensive! but alas your on the vineyard. paradise.lol.

Great place! Been doing Pilates for over 20 years. Visiting MV this week with family. Very impressed with knowledge and overall workout. Joseph Pilates trained, high is a plus. John Meade and Coastal Creations undertook the job of remodeling our Kitchen and 2 bathrooms in West Tisbury.
He and builder Charles Stutler (who John Recommended)worked independently after our initial design consultations and planning.
John was super responsive via Email and text and always was willing to change or upgrade any element of the design. I found his prices very fair and the outcome was SPECTACULAR. My wife cried when she saw the kitchen.
It really was a HUGE project. He and the builder had to remove a 2-ton Iron wood stove, completely re-route the ventilation, and re-do our kitchen window plus a hundred other things they did as true professionals.
John really was the lead guy for us and the project came in on time and on budget.
Finding a designer and builder on MV can be a real challenge, and forget getting work done in a timely manner but Coastal Creations did a wonderful job & I would recommend John to any prospective homeowners

I highly recommend Paul Lases (Rock Pond Kitchen and Bath). We hired him to oversee the remodel of our kitchen. As we were not on Martha’s Vineyard at the time, he was the point person for the entire job. He ordered the cabinets and the countertop. His crew was terrific. The counter tops were expertly installed as was the tile backsplash. Everything was done on time and executed excellently. In addition, he offered several design ideas that were exactly what was needed. He is easy to work with and will go above and beyond to make sure the job is done right. I will use him again in the future should the need arise.
After many massages at Transformational Healing, I heartily recommend treatments by Anja Thompson. She’s professional, effective and kind.Between Anja’s broad education in healing modalities, her experience in both massage therapy and yoga instruction, she seems to be very well attuned to clients’ bodies, misalignment and pain and - at least for me - can help release tightness in painful areas.I’ve mostly been getting treatments for low back pain with Anja and get longer-term relief after each session.

I was in line when Ryan Hunt was writing his 1 star review after causing a fit because he felt like he should receive a contractor discount without following the normal procedures. Devin, the cashier that Ryan was berating, was kind and collected throughout even apologetic when Ryan was clearly not able to understand that there are rules.
The selection is plentiful in annuals, perennials, shrubs trees and any other goods that you need for your gardening needs. A truly family run operation that we are lucky to have on the island.
Ryan Hunt you should be ashamed of your behavior. I guess the grass is not so green at Green Pastures.

While vacationing in Vineyard Haven I was due for a haircut. I checkout Kings Barbershop online first and chose them over other shops. Macion was my barber, he greeted me and was very professional. He ask for what I needed and I provided details. He did an OUTSTANDING job! While he was cutting my hair I watched the other barbers cut their customers. These guys are the real deal!! They can cut every texture of hair… highly skilled. Once Macion was done, the owner made sure I was satisfied. This is my new shop whenever I come to the island. Great job Kings Barbershop!While vacationing in Vineyard Haven, I had a haircut at Kings Barbershop. I had checked them out online and chose them over other shops. Macion, my barber, greeted me warmly and professionally. He listened attentively to my preferences and provided detailed instructions. He did an outstanding job! Emily is quite simply fantastic! I surprised my mom with a mother-daughter photo shoot on Martha's Vineyard and while she was nervous, Emily put her totally at ease. We had a lovely time on the beach and the photos are exactly how I envisioned. Definitely book a shoot with her!
