As far as lumberyards go this one has to be the friendliest. Everyone I encountered was open to offering assistance and help. Only been there twice now, but on the first name basis with a couple of the employees.
They seem to have ample quantities of just about everything lumber. They also have an entire section devoted to just cedar which is important here on the island. The only downside I can see is the parking is a bit hazard and unorganized. Still this is definitely a good go to place for all construction needs. It has become mine.

Cottle’s has it, and if not they’ll order and deliver. And let’s not forget those small items that nobody has..Cottle’s has ‘em.

Without a doubt some of the nicest people with whom you would ever want to interact. Fair prices, combined with a helpful, knowledgeable - and always smiling - staff. Carl in Custom Millwork is the best. So very helpful and willing to do what is needed to help with projects. My "go to" place for any lumber/woodworking needs.
