I’ve been going to COMMUNE Hair on Summer Street Boston for over 10 years, and for the past five years, my 5-year-old son and I come together every month. We both agree—Sandy Poirier is the best hairdresser in Boston.
Sandy isn’t just talented, he’s a true artist. He was featured on the television show American Beauty Star with the top hairdressers in the country—and he won. Beyond his skill, Sandy is a really cool, smart guy with amazing energy, fully tattooed, and always makes the experience fun.

Po is amazing! My haircut came out perf and it's so versatile. The entire appointment she kept asking me questions and made sure I loved my new hairdo. It was a wonderful experience and I definitely will be rebooking with Po in the future.
Second time seeing Po today and again i’m so happy. I take drive almost an hour now since i moved but it’s worth it! Lengthy consult, super friendly and fast but not rushed and always nails the inspo pic and the grow out looked great 6+ months last time.
