Eye Associates of Somerville is truly the best experience I have had with an eye doctor. Dr. Hussoin was extremely knowledgeable and so helpful. For years, my eye doctors have told me there is an issue in my left eye that puts me at an increased risk for glaucoma. However, no one has ever been able to effectively explain to me why, or what to keep look out for. Dr. Hussoin was able to explain the issue to me in layman’s terms and used a photo of my eye to actually show it to me. For the first time I left an eye appointment without any confusion. Dr. Baumal is quite simply the nicest person ever, as well as a remarkably thorough optometrist. He made sure to ask me lots of background questions, went the extra mile to determine if a minute change in prescription would be desirable (it wasn’t), and educated me about contact care so that, even after 15 yrs of contact wearing, I learned something new (swap out the case!). His bedside manner is impeccable. What a pleasure. Front desk staff also lovely.

After spending a lifetime being called four eyes, I finally got the courage to ditch the goggles and trade up to contacts. Not to be cornea but eye can't believe how great this place is!
