“I’ve tried to book with Katie a few times in the past, and I finally got the chance to see her last February—right before my trip to Cancun. I decided to step out of my comfort zone and cut my hair really short. Mind you, I have black Asian hair and wanted a blonde balayage, which is definitely not easy to achieve. But Katie (the owner) got it impressively close on the first visit, and by my second visit it’s already looking even closer to what I envisioned. I’ll be seeing her again this weekend for a touch-up before my husband’s birthday next month.

The atmosphere is amazing, and both Katie and Elaine are incredibly friendly—and I can’t forget her adorable dog! Every visit has been such a great experience. Lots of chats and laughs ??I’m even bringing my girlfriend with me this time because she loved how my hair turned out! Definitely check out her Instagram. I originally found her on Google and did extensive research before choosing a stylist I knew I could stick with for a long time—and Katie is that stylist!“

“Starting my loc journey with starter locs into two strands for my brothers wedding. Unfortunately I went to the wrong location at first which was 20 minutes away from where I was supposed to be. Ms. Sashae still took care of me, she made me feel very welcome although I put her behind on schedule and answered all of my questions about how to take care of my locs going forward.

The location is a beautiful view of the ocean and Boston skyline and everyone that works in the shop is very polite as well.
