“I’ve tried to book with Katie a few times in the past, and I finally got the chance to see her last February—right before my trip to Cancun. I decided to step out of my comfort zone and cut my hair really short. Mind you, I have black Asian hair and wanted a blonde balayage, which is definitely not easy to achieve. But Katie (the owner) got it impressively close on the first visit, and by my second visit it’s already looking even closer to what I envisioned. I’ll be seeing her again this weekend for a touch-up before my husband’s birthday next month.
