“I would like to respond to "Neil P" review. I remember it clearly because to be honest it was the first time something like that ever happened. This gentleman came into the salon with no appointment on a Saturday. Anyone knows a Salon's busiest day is on a Saturday. The Salon was extremely busy and yes he did sit and wait a bit before someone greeted him. We assumed he was waiting for someone because he NEVER approached the reception desk. When we did a visual cross reference with our clients and realized he was not with anyone, we asked if we could help him and he said he would like a haircut..We were completely booked but willing to accommodate, so we told him he could come back and we would get him in. He did come back and he did wait because he was being squeezed in and yes Tony was chatting away with his clients and taking his time because that's the type of barber that he is. He takes his time and gives the client what they pay for. Technically this 1 star review is actually in our favor because he said it just right. "Taking our time and chatting with our client." Sorry Neil your experience was not a good one!“

“I followed Doreen from her old salon to Mystique and I'm glad I did! Doreen is more than just a great hairdresser. She's also a woman with a heart of gold who I have grown to now consider a family friend/ second godmother. Over the years, she's given me awesome perms, trims, colors, etc. She does so in a professional, time efficient, and personable manner. Check her place out - you'll be glad you did!
Her salon is spacious, well stocked with beauty products, snacks, and drinks, relaxing, and she has awesome hairdressers working there (herself included!). Her prices are and have always been more than reasonable. Though her salon has many products available for sale, she is not pushy and never tries to sell you something you don't want / need.
We had hoped another talented hairdresser, Jodi, would have followed Doreen from Charisma to Mystique, but so far she has not. That's okay - Doreen's salon has many other great hairdressers and plenty of chairs and space should she ever decide to make the move! Hint hint Jodi!“
