If all you're looking for is a quick exam and a pair of glasses, there probably are better places to go. But if you want a serious opinion with multiple serious tests to inform that opinion, and are looking to actually solve your vision problems, yes, it does take time. We are quite fortunate in having Dr. Ruggiero and the staff of NVS in our area.

For someone who has MS visiting a Dentist is a daunting event!! My Visit to Northampton Vision Specialists was thorough , friendly(great folks !!), and, professional !! Dr. Clay was masterful checking my vision without the use of that usually big chair. I sat in my chair for most of the techs checks too !! They moved my legs for me to to line me up for the film work necessary to see into my optic nerve and cataracts in both eyes !! All the while keeping me laughing and comfortable with my inability to move my legs while they examined my eyes !! THANK YOU ALL !! Jim Brooks
