Mui Chiropractic and Sports Medicine Sports Medicine

“A huge vote of confidence for Mui Chiropractic is that their practitioners Dr. Mui and Dr. Kelly are trusted by a variety of professional athletes and teams, whom they often travel to see for onsite care. I'm just a desk jockey and recreational exerciser, but I appreciate the sports-oriented focus and expert treatment. Dr. Kelly and Dr. Mui use a variety of techniques that go way beyond traditional adjustments to the spine, including, cupping, dry needling, shockwave therapy, Graston, and other hands-on manipulation of soft tissue. They can help with musculoskeletal issues literally from head to toe.

I see both Dr. Kelly and Dr. Mui and find their approaches to be complementary. For example, Dr. Kelly helped me to diagnose that a tight lat is at the root of some of my discomfort, and he got me started with loosening it through cupping and manual techniques. Then Dr. Mui has been helping me release trigger points along the lat using dry needling. Both Dr. Mui and Dr. Kelly are great at dry needling by the way, but Dr. Mui is more comfortable doing it around the rib cage. As for cupping, that's a specialty of Dr. Kelly!

Dry needling is a particularly effective technique that many chiropractic and physical therapy offices do not offer. And at Mui Chiropractic, the cost of dry needling is just an additional ten dollar charge, so they have made it uniquely affordable.“

“I had a fantastic PT experience here over the past year or so. My PT Olivia was very knowledgeable and professional. I learned a lot managing injuries and how to navigate the recovery process. I'm very satisfied with the level of attention and thought she put into my plan. I was able to recover from my chronic leg injuries while still running half marathons and a marathon throughout the year!

Administrative things like payments and scheduling are also pretty frictionless here. They validate your parking for the lot in the back.“

“I found George through a friend who highly recommended his work, ease of making appointments, and results. He was a godsend. I had been plagued by plantar fasciitis for months and was beginning to think it would never get better. George is a miracle worker. He suggested I see him once a week till I felt better. It took about six sessions, and I am happy to say that it is healed!!! I will not hesitate to return to George for any other aches and pains.“

“Needham PT is the best - I saw them for an ACL/MCL/Meniscus tear from skiing and the pre surgery PT was incredibly effective at reducing the amount of surgery required. Post ACL reconstruction, I worked with Mike to regain my flexibility and strength. I have nothing but excellent things to say about Mike and the whole team - I am going to miss seeing them every week. They also make it easy to fit PT into your weekly schedule - they are a breeze to work with and flexible if you need to make a change. I am so appreciative of the care I received from the entire staff. Thank you Needham PT!“

“I have been extremely impressed with my experience at this facility. I am scheduled to undergo a complete shoulder replacement, and the two appointments I have had so far with the shoulder surgeons have been incredibly helpful and reassuring.

Their professionalism, expertise, and knowledge have been truly astounding. The staff has been equally impressive—extremely helpful, supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to making sure I understand every step of the process.

The information they have provided regarding preparation for surgery, the day of surgery, and the recovery process has been eye-opening and has given me a great deal of confidence moving forward.

I am actually looking forward to having the procedure done, which I never expected to say about major surgery! I truly believe I have come to the right facility and, most importantly, have found some of the best doctors in their field. I couldn’t be more pleased with the care I have received so far.“

“If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Absolutely amazing and very skilled work. I’m recovering from a shoulder surgery and if I could come every week I would. Abdel finds and relieves the problem areas immediately. I get the orthopedic massage and always feel so much better afterwards.“

“Bethia Nivens has been my PT since August when I came in with a partial teat in my rotator cuff. Over time, she has given me good instruction on what to do at home with instruction sheets and visuals using an app. The exercises have been varied while I am in office and explanations for each exercise were given. Once, I was ready for further work on improving my reach, she helped my arm move better into position and strength. She does give confidence and assurance that the strength training will work and over time so that I can do it at home. My plan is to continue so that I will not need surgery and will become stronger because of her excellent guidance. Thank you so much Bethia!“

“Dr Rob is the best and we have learned so much from him during our treatment sessions. He prevented and helped reverse my daughter’s fallen arches. He has also helped modify her rigorous sports training schedule to prevent injury and burnout and to provide proper rest during growth spurts. He has taught her key stretches to prevent constriction of muscles and fascia. My daughter is pain free, has more energy and is she growing like crazy. She loves his adjustments when she has an injury or when she has tightness.“

“After ‘graduating’ physical therapy, I could not figure out how to play tennis without pain. I had seen a specialist, gotten an MRI, had a cortisone shot, been doing accupuncture and strength training. Then I found John Marchese who figured out the root problem and re-wired how my brain connected to my feet. Now I am back to playing 4 times/week! I wish I had known of him sooner!“

“I went in here hearing amazing things about Michael and wow was I blown away. He knows SO MUCH and validated all my pains and is motivated to get to the bottom of what was ailing me. Attentive, curious, and knowledgeable. Lived up to the expectation and then some. I went in with random issues from years of being an athlete and he found the root cause of my issues during his screening and made a plan to help me get better. Stop reading this and book your appointment. You will leave feeling better physically and mentally!!!“

“Jonathan Schaller is an incredible practitioner and I'm so grateful to have found him. I had a shoulder injury that couldn't quite heal, and he worked on it, unlike several other PT's, and showed me exercises, to get it back to normal. I have referred MANY friends to him, and they have all reported positive results, and several of them now send their teenage children to him for various injuries. He is one of those rare people who understands the issue and knows what to do about it and conveys that with kindness and sensitivity.“

“Ben Benjamin is one of the greatest teachers and authors in the entire field of massage therapy - world-wide. He is a pioneer who is still in the frontier. He has developed and taught methods for relieving pain and tension, for optimizing performance, as well as done some great work in helping therapists with communication skills both through their hands and the information they share with clients. Honestly, studying with Ben is going to one of the SOURCES of so much that is most vital in our field. I believe every therapist should take one or more courses with Ben Benjamin. Not only is he teaching great hands-on courses, but he has a variety of superb classes on-line as well. Check him out!“
