This is THE place to dry clean high end items, including fur coats. The alterations are out of this world. It is expensive, no doubt. But, worth it to me to preserve high end clothing.

Even though the yelp reviews aren't great, I decided to give it a try anyways because they were so near by and didn't have any special needs. All my shirts came out just fine. Reading through the reviews again; perhaps there was a change of owner/management because it's not quite like what the rage reviews are saying.

Very pleased with my recent alterations at the Newton Centre Miss Heffermans. Kaye Kim the co-owner with her husband Suang, was pleasant and proficient, She did an awesome job on re-seaming my two dresses, and prices were great. I highly recommend. They are a full service cleaners as well I believe... it's nice to know I have a 'go-to' place for alterations! I'll be back. I believe they The Kim's own a second Miss Heffermans sight in Wellesley. It seems online there are individually owned cleaners under this name. I am recommending the Pelham Street Newton Centre shoppe Cathy Yetman
