I just went to Clearwater Laundromat in Newton to wash a king-size comforter and a king-size quilt, and I was really pleased with the experience. They recently completed a renovation and now have brand-new washers and dryers, including large-capacity touchscreen washers.
The new floors and completely refreshed space make the laundromat feel exceptionally clean and welcoming. If you’re looking for a local laundromat, I definitely recommend giving Clearwater a try.
Location is great, but the facility really needs upkeep and repair—it’s gone downhill over the past several years. The last time I visited (May), only 6 of 16 washers and 8 of 20 dryers were working. The quarter machine was out of service, and the space smelled like cigarettes.
I had a very disappointing experience at Clear Water Laundromat. The place was quite dirty inside, and most of the machines were out of order. Because of this, it ended up being a waste of time. I would not recommend going there.
