Yendel is a master barber. I had let my hair grow for 6 months and came in looking for a complete overhaul. Yendel proceeded to give me one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. Saw Nevaeh for full color (Pink hair) and for a silk press and trim . My curls were not damaged at the end of the process and she was very gentle. She knows how to handle natural hair if that is a preference and her space is clean and comfortable . Loved my results and I only go see her when I need to be refreshed.
I had been seeing the same colorist for about 6 years at a high end salon on Newbury Street. My hair always came out pretty good, but I never truly loved it. It can be scary to try a new colorist, but after hearing wonderful things about Cortney and seeing photos of her incredible work, I decided to give her a try.
I should mention that I am not the easiest client - I gave Cortney a LOT of information about my hair history and what I was trying to achieve. Frankly, if I were her, I probably would have run for the hills. But Cortney was wonderful. She knew exactly what to do with my hair and I trusted her implicitly (this alone is rare for me). My color came out stunningly perfect and the cut was just right, too. Cortney was also incredibly kind, patient, and down-to-earth.
Many colorists and salons tout themselves as "balayage experts" and it can be difficult to discern talent when scrolling through someone's instagram/portfolio, or from reviewing their bio or training history. A good colorist -- one who has an eye for color and tone, and an artistic ability in painting on the lightener in a natural way -- is very hard to find. Cortney is the magical colorist I've been searching for, and I am so grateful to have found her!

Mike and his guys filled in our big in-ground pool and put in a patio where it had been. I've owned homes for 35 years and can't remember having such a seamless, professional renovation experience. They did the whole project in 4 days, working their butts off during a terrible heat wave. I got 3 estimates and their price was the lowest by far. They went above and beyond, including matching some pavers the previous owner had put in in another area years before and hauling countless loads of crushed stone fill up our very narrow (8 ft) driveway. I look forward to hiring them again.

Our tech came out and diagnosed the issues and was able to order the parts necessary and then came back and completed the work. First time satisfied customers!
