“Mati opened its doors in 2022 and has been one of the most transformative spaces I’ve ever been a part of. Every teacher brings their own unique flavor while also skillfully threading each class together into a cohesive experience.

One of my favorite offerings at the studio is Cacao Circle and the newly created Cacao & Sound. Rachel creates a truly beautiful container to sit with this sacred medicine. Her wisdom and guidance around cacao are top tier and deeply rooted in tradition. The community and genuine connections that have emerged from the space she holds are invaluable.

The addition of sound bowls creates an otherworldly experience that allows me to fully surrender and receive. Tuned to 432 Hz, the bowls can be felt throughout the entire body. Rachel intuitively plays them, creating a space where healing and deep rest meet.

Melting into the mat during this experience is, hands down, one of my favorite moments. The cacao is flowing, and Rachel’s soothing guidance creates the perfect conditions for this kind of softening.

Cote’s Strength and Mobility classes have completely changed the way I move my body. As someone who has experienced multiple knee surgeries and a spinal fusion, this class has helped me build strength in a safe and supported way. Cote emphasizes mindful movement and proper alignment, ensuring both safety and sustainability. It’s an absolute game changer for anyone returning from injury.

Whether you’re using no weight or working with 60 lb kettlebells, the class meets you where you are. The community is incredibly welcoming and supportive, and there’s a powerful sense of togetherness during even the most challenging moments.

“The facility is a 5/5 for sure!!! Just went for the first time and it's gorgeous. Convenient location, and it's so nice to have so many things to do before your treatment! I opted for the salt room which was a cool experience. The lounge is nice as well, music is very peaceful and thoughtful to put out tea and water. The hot tub outside looked well maintained. Locker rooms were such a nice touch. It's clear a lot of thought went into designing a full wellness facility. I would rate my prenatal massage very differently. More like a 3/5 which was surprising to me as I've had 10 prenatal massages total and for $160/60min, that's by far the steepest I've ever paid and walked away with a few new pains in my shoulders and back :( I'm sad about that but again, facility is great.“

In an effort to heal my ailments by committing to working on them in the same way I had worked on my muscle building, while finding a new challenge out of my element, I began going to weekly Pilates and Yoga classes. After 5 months of 3 days a week, I have lost 21lb of fat and walk around pain free. I don’t have words to quantify how much this place, its teachings, and it’s out of this world instructors have improved my already wonderful life. Thank you all!“
