He has provided thoughtful guidance and unwavering support in preparing my son for both orchestra and competitions. His attention to detail, high standards, and constant encoura gement have helped my son develop strong technical skills, confidence, and a deep love for music.
Ms. Tanya’s music theory class is excellent—well structured, engaging, and highly effective in building a solid musical foundation. The summer camp organized by Ms. Tanya and Mr. Liubomyr is also outstanding, offering an inspiring and well-organized environment for young musicians. Mr. Liubomyr is also a faculty member at the Cremona International Music Academy, and the opportunity for students to participate in the camp in Cremona is especially exciting.
I also highly recommend the adult chamber music program. It provides a rare and welcoming opportunity for adult musicians to play in ensembles and continue growing. I personally had a wonderful time playing in a trio alongside other passionate and talented adult musicians.
Overall, this school offers exceptional teaching, a supportive community, and meaningful opportunities for both students and adults. We feel very fortunate to be part of it.“

“I truly can’t say enough en pointe wonderful things about the Boston Ballet Adult Foundations class. While I’m sure all of the instructors are exceptional, my experience with Julia—both from a pedagogical and inclusivity standpoint—has been nothing short of top-notch. She is clearly a beautifully trained dancer, but what truly sets her apart is the way she meets each student exactly where they are and helps them grow from there.
Learning something new as an adult can feel intimidating, but Julia has a rare ability to make everyone feel seen, valued, and included—no small feat. She breaks down steps with clarity and patience, creating a class environment that feels supportive rather than overwhelming. You never feel like you’re just going through the motions; instead, you feel encouraged to plié into the learning process with confidence.
Most importantly, Julia genuinely cares—not just about correct technique, but about her students, their progress, and cultivating a real love for the art of ballet. Her passion is contagious, and it turns each class into something you look forward to all week.
I’m incredibly grateful for her teaching and so glad I took the leap and signed up. If you’re reading this because you’re on the fence, take it as your cue to jeté—I highly recommend giving it a try. ?“

171 Windsor St, Cambridge“Ben at Boston Bass Lessons has been an awesome teacher and a big reason I’ve been able to level up my bass playing. He’s helped me fill in a lot of gaps in my understanding — especially around theory — and has a really chill, approachable way of explaining things that just makes stuff click.
Every lesson feels super focused on what I need at the time, whether it's technique, timing, or getting more confident with improvisation. I always leave our sessions feeling motivated and like I’ve made progress.
If you're looking to get better at bass with someone who knows their stuff, I definitely recommend Ben at Boston Bass Lessons.“

“I take lessons with Sienna at Cambridge Piano Lessons, and I have had a phenomenal experience as an adult trying to get back into learning piano and taking lessons. Sienna is an absolute genius. She has a brilliant way of explaining music and how to play the notes on the page. She challenges me and provides feedback that helps me to learn more about the foundation of the music. She also provides explanations in music theory (without going too much in the weeds!) which allows me to understand the basis/foundations of the music that I am playing. I feel like I have definitely improved and am getting the attention that I need to advance my skills.“
“I enrolled my daughter in the indoor family class (0-4) when she had just turned 2 years-old until now at 3 years and 3 months old. We are currently taking a break just to try out some different activities for her (not enough hours in the weekend to do everything), but I couldn’t recommend CMCJP enough. It’s obvious that Christy, the program’s founder, has a background in early childhood music education, and that she carefully curates her curriculum to cultivate musical development (i.e. learning different rhythmic patterns, songs in minor vs. major keys), music appreciation, and, most of all, fun for the kids and families! As opposed to other less thoughtful children’s music classes, she doesn’t just play a guitar while the kids shake some instruments. She really thinks about what skills she can teach through her song choices, the instruments she chooses to have the kids play with, and the body motions she incorporates with almost all her songs (clapping, dancing, etc.). As a former dancer, I particularly appreciate the importance she places on movement with most of her songs, as well as tactile props, such as scarves, accordion ropes, and, always a kid-favorite, the PARACHUTE.
In short, if you want to expose your child to a high-quality early childhood activity, I highly recommend CMCJP. We will be signing back up in the future, hopefully for some outdoor classes in the summer!“

337 North Ave, Wakefield“As a guitar player it's great to have nearby, they have a descent variety of strings. And a shout to my fellow guitar players this is one of the very few or only places around that stock single guitar strings. They'll hand you the box and let you fish through it for what you need. Gotta keep a stash of those high E strings handy“
“My son enjoys coming to piano lesson every week. Paul is the best piano teacher we ever had. He made the class interesting and he is so patient with my 8 year old son. Very happy with our choice ! Highly recommended!“

Tommy arrived early, and had 20 kids fully engaged and giggling the entire time. He brought a variety of toys (maracas, puppets, drums, parachute, etc) which the kids loved and also allowed them to participate in a variety of ways. I can’t say enough good things about little groove and I highly recommend them“

“Our children have been taking lessons at Music 101 for 16 years (guitar, piano, & voice). Every minute has been a wonderful experience. The teachers are knowledgeable and patient. They have excellent teaching methods. Tanya, Steven and Michelle have always been so very helpful and understanding. They feel like family. Last night was our last of 15 recitals with Music 101 and it was bittersweet. We are so proud that both of our kids have learned so much there and have chosen to pursue music as a career (Music Ed and Music Therapy). Music 101 gave them a passion for music and it will live forever in their hearts.“
