It's been a few months since I IT4 bailed me out of a jam, and I'm sorry I forgot to post this. The upside is I can unequivocally state that the work they did has stood the test of time. My newish laptop crashed before I understood the newfangled OneNote recovery. iTunes, photos, documents...all gone. I handed IT4 my laptop, an old external hard drive ( I had used it as a backup until it went , well, all HAL on me) and asked them what they could do. BAM! I got back nearly everything. The techs didn't make me feel like an idiot when I explained what happened. They explained to me , slowly and with limited techno-babble, what they could do and what I could expect. Turnaround time was faster than I expected, cost was reasonable and without hidden fees or any kind of up-sell, and I'm still using a problem free laptop. They even helped me choose my new external hard drive ( did you sometimes the same hard drive is CHEAPER on Amazon if you choose an unpopular color ? ). I would go back to IT4 with any PC issue and I'd recommend them based on service alone to any of my friends looking for larger or more technical issues.

computers, how do they work? i have no idea, but thankfully these guys do. just kidding, i have an idea...sort of...it's basically a series of tubes, right? well, in any case, if you've tried turning it off and back on again with no results and you've run out of ideas, bring your computer to these nerds. sorry, i mean qualified technicians. they keep all our computers up and running - whether it's a brand new rig or an ancient laptop fitted with ubuntu, they'll figure out a way to keep you in business. speaking of businesses, they'll take care of you guys too. general tech support, setup, and advanced troubleshooting for all kinds of shiz including computers, printers, phones, servers, that virus you got while "doing research for a project," you name it. if it has chips and plugs in, they can probably help you out. except for that time i filled a tennis ball machine with pringles...but that's a story for another day.
