He is patient, kind, with a great sense of humor but stern when he needs to be. Renshi Dave is running a great dojo. The cost per month with the amount of classes that you can take is a great deal compared to other rates we have seen. The dojo is clean and in a great location downtown for running an errand or two or getting a decent cup of coffee while on Main Street. It's a good balance between fun and the seriousness of learning martial arts and self defense. Class usually ends with a game of ball tag which is a great release for the kids.
